Discussed throughout this training we look at the requirements of the standard and how it is applied as part of the overall risk reduction to having a safer machine. 

The training takes you through the process looking at the wiring principles, the faults that can occur and what can be done to reduce failure. 

 

Safety calculations are a requirement of the standard to ensure that the components in a safety control system are fit for purpose.

 

Discussions around the validation and verification stages will also take place and how EN ISO 13849-1 works and fits alongside the other standards.
