3 DAY MACHINERY SAFETY TRAINING
The 3 day machinery safety training course takes delegates through the requirements of machinery safety allowing them to build their knowledge around this complex topic and understand the safety lifecycle. The training begins with looking at the requirements of the Machinery Directive and other associated directives and regulations such as PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment). The requirements of risk assessments are discussed and how these are used to help identify hazardous associated with machinery. The common safety standards are covered including guarding, safety distances, safety components and safety control systems. To allow the delegates to understand the safety control systems, time is spent designing some basic safety circuits and wiring these up on the bespoke training rigs we have.
Don’t worry if you’re not an engineer, its relatively easy and delegates enjoy this side of the training. This allows them to see fault conditions in a controlled environment and away from the production machinery.
